MYRTLE HANSON (d. 1953)

Mrs. Adolph Hanson, 79 (above), of 856 North Fifth St., Manitowoc, died
unexpectedly Saturday evening at the home. A neighbor, who noted Mrs. Hanson
had not been about the home in the early evening went into the house and found
she had collapsed from a heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Frazier Mortuary Manitowoc.
The Rev. Roland Schwandt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hanson was born Myrtle Bates at Capron, Ill., in 1874 and in 1902 was married
to Adolph Hanson. They located in Manitowoc where her husband operated the Hanson
Wagon Works on York Street for many years. He died in 1939.
She was a charter member of the Prisca Society of the First Lutheran Church and
the Eastern Star.
Only survivor is a sister, Mrs. Vivian Iverson of Capron.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
