PAULINA HANSON

Mrs. Ben Hanson, 71, of 411 St. Clair St., Manitowoc, died Sunday noon at
Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following an illness of about two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Theodore Uetzman officiating. Burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery .
She was born Paulina Kuether Jan. 10, 1891, at Sheboygan, daughter of the late
Herman and Eureka Dinz Kuether. She was married March 21, 1912, to Ben C. Hanson
at Two Rivers. The couple made its home at Manitowoc. She was a member of the
Ladies Aid Society of her church. The couple observed its 50th wedding anniversary
in March of 1962.
Among survivors are her husband; three sons, Lester of Arvanda, Colo., Milton of
Manitowoc and Delmar of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. James Lodl of Two Rivers;
three brothers, Hugo of Manitowoc and Herbert and William of Two Rivers; two
sisters, Mrs. William Weber and Mrs. Archie Bourrett of Sheboygan; nine grand-
children and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, until 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in
state until time of service.
