11 am Monday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Arno
Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hardrath was born January 9, 1894 in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late
Ferdinand and Augusta Groelle Behm. She attended schools in Manitowoc and was a
seamstress at Schuettes Dept. Store and the Boston Store. During World War II she
was employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding. She married Emil Hardrath on September 3,
1948. He preceded her in death in 1967. Mrs. Hardrath was a member of First German
Evangelical Lutheran Church; the Ladies Aide; the Senior Citizens and the Memorial
Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Clara Mrotek of Manitowoc and Mrs. Esther
Hardrath of Milwaukee; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She
was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 pm to 8 pm Sunday and Monday
from 10 am to the time of services at the church. Memorials may be made to First
German Evangelical Lutheran church.
