META HARPT

Mrs. Meta Harpt, 79,of 1001 N. 15th St., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, Sept. 7, at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard C. Miller will officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Harpt was born April 12, 1905, at Mishicot, daughter of the late Louis and Alvina Just Stueck. She grew up and was educated in the Town of Gibson and attended Jumbo Creek School and then attended a millinery school in Milwaukee. She was married to Omar Harpt, Nov. 16, 1927, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Mishicot. He preceded her in death July 17, 1979. Mrs. Harpt was a active member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Manitowoc County Homemakers and a volunteer at Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Elton H. and Susan M. Harpt of DePere, Wis., and Gerald K. and Audrey E. Harpt of Manitowoc; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Glen and Lucille Stueck of Pennsylvania and Lester and Norma Stueck of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Harold Meineke of Two Rivers; grandchildren include Steven, Jeffrey and Sara Harpt of DePere, Mrs. Steven (Lisa) Kaufmann of Manitowoc, Randy, Cheryl and Connie Harpt of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and at the church, on Monday from noon until the time of services.
