ANNIE HARTER

Mrs. Anna Harter, 69, of Two Rivers died yesterday afternoon at the Municipal
hosptial in Two Rivers following an illness of five years. She was taken to
the hospital about 10 days ago.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Klein and Stangel funeral
chapel with the Rev. Martin E.A. Mueller of Milwaukee officiating. Burial will
be in Evergreen cemetery in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the funeral home from
7 o'clock this evening until time of services.
Mrs. Harter, nee Anna Behn, was born in Germany in 1880 and came to this country
with her parents when she was five years old. Mrs. Harter, who was a deaf mute,
was a graduate of the Delvan school for the deaf. After her marriage to Ervin
Harter, in Birnamwood, the couple moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Harter died in 1942
and Mrs. Harter moved to Two Rivers two years ago.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Archie Beitzel of Two Rivers and a son, Percy,
of Sheboygan; three grandchildren.
