AUGUSTA HARTL

Mrs. Philip Hartl, 76, of 1810 Wollmer St., Manitowoc, died at home at 8 p.m.
Saturday after a coronary attack.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Augusta Adler was born Aug. 15, 1887, at Manitowoc, daughter of the
late Adolph and Louise Kubish Adler. The lifelong city resident was married to
Philip Hartl July 22, 1913, and the couple marked the golden anniversary of the
wedding in 1963.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Ray Zunker, and a brother, George
Adler, of Manitowoc, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Jung, of West Corwina, Calif., and
two grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home.

Miss Augusta Adler is Bride of Philip Hartl
Third of her family to wed within a period of six months, Miss Augusta Adler, a
west side girl, yesterday became the bride of Philip Hartl, the ceremony being
celebrated at St. Boniface parsonage. The young couple after a honeymoon will
take up their home here. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Adler,
1816 Wollmer. Her sister, Miss Margaret, was married a few months ago and the
wedding was followed shortly by the wedding of a brother, Arthur to a Two Rivers
girl. Mr. Hartl is an employe of the Rahr Sons Co.
