LEILA G. HARTUNG

Miss Leila G. Hartung, 75, of 1433 N. 6th St., Manitou Manor, Manitowoc,
died unexpectedly Friday afternoon of a coronary at the Manor.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Phipps Memorial Chapel,
First Presbyterian Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Dale O. Tutje will officiate
and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Hartung was born Jan. 14, 1898, at Two Rivers, daughter of the late
Henry and Mary Enhardt Hartung. She was employed at Northwestern Freight
office seven years and at Manitowoc Shipbuilding in the office for 30 years.
Miss Hartung was a former member of the Lois Society of First Presbyterian
Church and a present member of the Lydia Circle.
Survivors include a brother, Chester of San Jose, Calif., and a sister, Mrs.
Warren Graham of Manitowoc. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, (Ninth Street
Entrance) from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday until noon Monday and then at the chapel
until the time of service.
