Death on Sat. evening after a sickness of several weeks, of Mr.
Carl Hartwig, a respected citizen of our city. He was born in 1836
and in 1863 emigrated from his home in Pomerania to Manitowoc which
he never left. He is survived by his widow and 6 children. His burial
took place yesterday afternoon in the city cemetery.
