Death Thurs. last week, in the local Holy Family Hospital, of Mrs. Marie Hartwig,
widow of the late Carl Hartwig, from complications following an operation. Mrs.
Hartwig was born 28 Feb. 1842 in Hanover and came to Milwaukee as a child with
her parents. There she married Carl Hartwig in 1867 with whom she moved to
Manitowoc 31 yrs. ago. She leaves 6 children. The funeral was held Sun.
