MOTHER OF WM. HASENFUS DEAD TODAY, AGED 76
Mrs. John Hasenfus died this morning at the family home at 703 South Fifteenth
street as result of heart failure. The funeral will be held Monday morning with
services at 9 o�clock at Sacred Heart church, the Rev. Peil officiating. Burial
will be at Calvary cemetery.
Mrs. Hasenfus was seventy-six [sic] years of age having been born in Germany
September 18, 1856. She came to Manitowoc county with her parents in 1860 and
July, 1898 she was married to John Hasenfus. Her husband, four children, Walter
Westphal and Mrs. Ida Thompson, children by a former marriage, William Hasenfus
and Mrs. Herman Kohls, stepchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Kersten of this
city, Mrs. Stephan Ginesslein, Green Bay and Mrs. A. Kenost, Milwaukee and her
mother, Mrs. Minnie Schoch, survive her.

Bury Mrs. Hasenfus From St. Boniface
The funeral of Mrs. John Hasenfus will be held Monday morning from St.
Boniface church, the Rev. Peil officiating, and burial will be at
Evergreen cemetery, and not Calvary as stated in the report of the death
yesterday. Mrs. Hasenfus was 65 years of age. The obiturary notice was
in error in stating that the mother of Mrs. Hasenfus survived her.
