Leo P. Hauch, 78, of 504 Buffalo St., died Friday evening at Woods, Wis.,
Veteran Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev.
Donald Schneider will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Hauch was born April 1, 1896, at Cleveland, son of the late Matt and Anna
Dhein Hauch. He was in the Army in World War I. He married Arletta Hallada
Sept. 18, 1941, at Dubuque, Iowa. They moved to Manitowoc from the Shoto area
in 1960, when he retired from Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Arletta, two sons, John, of Waldwick, N.J., and
Dennis, of Rt.,2, Two Rivers; a brother, Walter, and a sister, Mrs. Eleanor
Hertel, of San Bernadino, Calif.; and five grandchildren. Three brothers and
two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o’clock this
Monday afternoon, where a vigil service will be held at 8 o’clock.
