Earl W. Haugh, 73, of 3130 Lindbergh Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday morning at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday at St. Paul
United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Kristaps Caune will officiate with
burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Haugh was born Dec. 14, 1901 in Great Falls, Mont., son of the late Fred L.
and Florence Wood Haugh. He was graduated from Baraboo High School and attended
University of Wisconsin School of Electrical Engineering at Madison. He married
M. Marie Carpenter Sept. 3, 1927 at Baraboo. He was employed in the municipal
sales division of Harley Davidson Motor Co. of Milwaukee and later in the the
contract sales department of Mirro Aluminum Co,. of Manitowoc. He was also a
former sales manager of Kaufman Mfg. Co. and vice president and sales Manager of
Heresite & Chemical Co., and was treasurer of the company until his retirement in
1968. Mr. Haugh was a member and past president of Manitowoc Lions club and a
member of St. Paul United Methodist Church and former trustee of the church.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Donald E. of Gurnee, Ill., a daughter, Mrs. Joe
(Janet) Ostrander of Deerfield, Ill., and three grandsons. An infant brother
preceded him in death.
Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Friends may call at the church
from 11 am Monday until the time of service. Memorials may be made to St. Paul
United Methodist Church.
