Lorin W. Haver, 67, of 615 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died early Friday morning, July 23, at the family residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, with graveside military rites accorded by V.F.W. Otto Oas Post 659.
Mr. Haver was born July 21, 1915, at Seymour, Wis., son of the late Ernest and Carrie Wolfe Haver. He married Yvonne Houghton, Feb. 22, 1946, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Haver was paymaster at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry for 27 years, retiring in 1974 due to illness. He also worked part time at Marcus Theaters for many years. He was a Master Sergeant in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945, serving overseas during World War II. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne; three sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Joan Haver of Milwaukee, Greg and Diane Haver of Manitowoc, and Jeffrey and Laurie Haver of Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Marge Haver of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Arnelda Schneider of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Heather, Cherie and Jeff; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and 830 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, and at the church from noon until the time of services.
