Mrs. Joseph C. Havlichek, 60, at 1106 N. 11th St., Manitowoc died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness. Funeral arrangements will be announced Thursday by Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc.

Mr. Havlichek, the former Josephine Khail, was born July 25, 1904, in Czechoslovakia, daughter of the late Wenzel and Veronica Stuksa Khail. She came with her parents to America in 1911. She was married to Mr. Havlichek in 1924. He died in 1954. Survivors are a son, Emil, of New York City, a brother, Emil H. Khail, of Manitowoc and a sister, Mrs. Emma Baroshek, of Chicago.

Havlichek, 60, of 1106 N. 11th St., Manitowoc, who died Wednesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. E.A. Radey officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
