Mrs. Ruth Kathryn Haw, 60, of 931 N. 9th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday, January 6,
1990, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church. Rev. Bruce
Hanstedt and Rev. Richard Lind will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mrs. Haw was born August 24, 1929, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Rev. Roy and
Klara Nybroten Walden. She attended schools in Manitowoc and Sioux Falls, South
Dakota.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Walden and Ann Haw of Valders,
Daniel and Beth Haw of St. Ignes, Michigan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis
and Jeff Leschke of Newton, Cynthia and Gary Stelzer of Manitowoc, Antonette and
Leonard Olvera of Minoqua, Wisconsin; a brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Rose
Mary Walden of Rockford, Illinois; a sister, Dorothy Van Duyse of Green Bay and 12
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, a granddaughter and a very
special friend, Tony Chernik.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and
Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Funeral Home and from 12:30 p.m. until the
time of services at the church. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church,
American Cancer Society of Sids.
