Angus G. Hebert, 68, veteran commercial fisherman of Michigan who resided at
Manitowoc since 1917, died Friday morning after a short illness at the home,
211 N. Fifth St.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. D. L.
Krembs will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Hebert was born at Au Sable, Mich., Jan. 22, 1889, and June 26, 1915,
married Eva Turner at Manistique, Mich. A fisherman by trade, he was engaged
in the business after marriage at Grand Ma___ ___, then ____ Mich., before
moving to Manitowoc. He was employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., until
retirement. Mr. Hebert was a member of the ___ ___ ___ .
Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Donald Dilsaver of Norwalk,
Calif., and Mrs. Hebert Wasurick and Miss Mary Hebert of Manitowoc, a son,
James of Manitowoc, a brother, Henry of Toledo, Ohio, two sisters, Mrs. G.
Fredricks and Mrs. Ray Kiefner of Minneapolis and 10 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday where the Rosary
will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
