Mrs. Julius Hecker, 56, of 2116 Rankin street, died Sunday at the
Holy Family hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Pfeffer
funeral home, the Rev. A.C. Fischer officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Hecker, nee Hilda Smith, was born in 1890 in Stitzer, Grant
county. In 1910 she was married to Julius Hecker and they made
their home in Manitowoc.
Survivors are the husband; mother, Mrs. Casper Smith, 93, of
Fennimore; two brothers, Dr. R.F. Smith of Fennimore and Fred of
Deer Lodge, Montana; two sisters, Miss Martha Smith of Fennimore
and Mrs. William Finnegan of Lancaster.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Tuesday
until time of services Wednesday.
