Jane E. Hecker, age 73, of 415 S. 30th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, December 8, 199, at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.

Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 1993, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Revs. Bruce McKenney and Robert Kujawski will officiate with burial to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Jane was born June 1, 1920, daughter of the late Michael and Sophia Friedl Butler.

She moved to Manitowoc with her mother in 1923 and attended local schools. She married Reuben J. Hecker on October 9, 1948, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on December 25, 1991.

Mrs. Hecker was employed at the Mirro Aluminum Company from 1936 until 1949. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center and Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Michael and Peter Hecker, both of Manitowoc; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, Earl and Loretta Hecker, Lloyd and Vivian Hecker, Vernon and Luella Hecker, all of Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph and a sister, Marie.

Friends may call at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church starting at 12:00 Noon until the time of services on Saturday. The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
