Ruth E. Heinrichs, 68 of 702 S. 20th Street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning,
July 12, 1988 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will
be 1 pm Thursday at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. Rev. Gerald
Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Heinrichs was born February 14, 1920 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of
the late Reuben and Clara Regel Miller. She married Arthur H. Heinrichs on
August 31, 1940 at Dubuque, Iowa. Mrs. Heinrichs was employed at Mirro Aluminum
from 1956 until retirement in 1981.
Survivors include her husband, Arthur H. Heinrichs of Manitowoc; a son, James A.
Heinrichs of Chicago; a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Lee and Charles W. Steiner
of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Dorothy
Miller of Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Richard Morris of
Manitowoc and two grandchildren, Jennifer and Angela Steiner. She was preceded
in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 8 pm Wednesday and
Thursday from 11 am to the time of services at St. John United Church of Christ.
