Frederick S. Hellmuth, 79, a resident of the Manitowoc Health Care Center, died Wednesday evening, Sept. 26, at the Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Manitowoc Health Care Center Chapel. Major David L. Biggs, of the Salvation Army, will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hellmuth was born April 1, 1905, in Manitowoc, son of the late William and Helen House Helmuth. He grew up and was educated here in Manitowoc. Mr. Helluth was a farmhand working throughout Manitowoc County and has been retired for many years. Mr. Hellmuth was a member of the Salvation Army Mens Club and attended services at the Salvation Army Chapel for many years.
Survivors include two sisters, Gladys Helmuth of Manitowoc and Marion of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Manitowoc Health Care Center Chapel, on Friday from 1 p.m. to the time of services. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
