ERNST HEMPEL (d. 1967)
Ernst Hempel, 85, of 1405 Washington St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Leschke-Bergner Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul H. BLaufuss will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hempel was born Jan. 29, 1882, in Germany, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernst
Hempel Sr., who were founders of the Globe Laundry. Mr. Hempel had been a past
vice president.
Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Linda Kinsrey, with whom he resided, and nieces and
nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
