CORA HENRIKSON

Miss Cora M. Henrikson, 57, teacher in Manitowoc schools for more
than 30 years, died this morning shortly before 11 o'clock at the
Holy Family hospital. She had been ill two months and was moved to
the hospital from her home, 860 North 15th street.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. R.B. Walden officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Miss Henrikson was born in Manitowoc in 1883 and was graduated from
the high school here and later from the County Normal school and the
Oshkosh State Teachers college.
Returning to Manitowoc she was named to fill a teaching position in
the Jerfferson school and later was promoted to faculty positions in
the Lincoln high school and Wilson junior high school. Until taken
ill she taught mathematics at the Wilson school.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the St. Paul's Lutheran church.
Survivors are two brothers, Julius of this city and Dr. Herman Henrikson
of Green Bay; and a sister, Mrs. Albert Gallun of Menomonie, Wis.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Tuesday at 4 p.m.
