EMIL HERMAN GETS SUMMONS
Illness of One Year Fatal; Funeral On Monday
Emil P. Herman, 52, ill for the last year, died Friday night at the home of his
mother, Mrs. Otto Herman, 1418 South Ninth street, with whom he made his home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9 a.m. from St. Boniface church with
interment at Evergreen cemetery.
The deceased was born in this city and always made his home here. For many years
he was employed as a steam fitter by the Kallies company. He was a charter member
of the Pioneer Campers club, a member of the Eagles, and in the earlier days
served for six years as a cook for Company H, Wisconsin National Guards.
Survivors are his mother, a daughter, Mrs. Ervin Krognman, Milwaukee, a brother,
Sydney, city, three sisters, Mrs. Otto Metzger and Mrs. Edward Cerull, both of
this city and Mrs. Joseph Kanz, Milwaukee and two grandchildren.
The body was removed to the home on South Ninth street from the Wattawa, Urbanek
and Schlei funeral parlors this afternoon.
