George F. Herzog, age 86, of 770 East Albert Dr., Manitowoc, died Sunday, November 15,
1992, at his residence. A memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 20,
at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Richard Miller will officiate with burial
to follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born May 19, 1906, in Manitowoc, son of the late George and Margaret Willinger
Herzog. He attended schools in Manitowoc, and married Eleanora Boettcher on December 29,
1965, at Peace Lutheran Church, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mr. Herzog was a car salesman for
many years in the Manitowoc area.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanora Ascher Herzog; one step-daughter, Betty Jane Brennan,
Coconut Creek, Fla.; two step-sons, Mitchell and Gail Sawyer, West Palm Beach, Fla., Jent
and Elizabeth Sawyer, Milwaukee, Wis.; one step-great grandson, Jent Sawyer, Milwaukee;
nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends also survive. He is further survived
by other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Jens Funeral Home on Friday, November 20, from 1 p.m. until the
time of services.
