GROVER HERZOG

Grover Herzog, 53, of 726 North 12th street, lifelong resident of the city,
died this noon at the Holy Family hospital. He had been in failing health two
years.
He was born in this city in 1892 and in 1911 married Miss Ann Suchomel. For
many years he was employed at the Manitowoc Ship Building company and was a
member of Local No. 443 Shipbuilders and Boilermakers union.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Ellerman and Mrs. Ruth
Pozorsky, both of this city; two sons, Henry of this city, Russell of Baltimore,
Md., sister, Mrs. Mabel Wernecke of this city; and five grandchildren.
Funeral plans are incomplete and will be announced Friday. The body is at the
Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home.

Funeral services for Grover Herzog, 53 (photo), of 726 North 12th street,
employed at the shipyards for 39 years, who died yesterday at the hospital,
will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral
home. The Rev. Noah Bess will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
The body may be viewed after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
