CAROLINE HEYDRICH
Mrs. Caroline Heydrich, 84, a former Manitowoc County resident, died Monday noon
at Calumet County Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Theodore Barthels will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Heydrich, nee Caroline Hecker, was born Nov. 30, 1893, in the Town of Newton,
daughter of the late Herman and Louisa Maas Hecker. She was married to Richard
Heydrich Jan. 22, 1919, at Newton. They owned and operated a farm on Rt. 1,
Manitowoc, until 1948, when they moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Heydrich preceded her
in death Dec. 28, 1965.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lester (Louise) Wehrwein, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc;
a brother, Herman Hecker, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Free, of Rt. 3,
Manitowoc, and Mrs. Anna Behringer, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, and two grandsons, Daniel
and the Rev. Robert Wehrwein, of Minnesota. Two brothers and a sister preceded her
in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday
prior to the time of service.
