Mrs. Lucille R. Hodas, age 86, formerly of 630 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died
Thursday morning, July 18, 2002 at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2002 at St. Paul
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Ronald Reimer will celebrate the Mass
of Christian Burial with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Lucille was born Sept. 23, 1915 at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil and
Julia Honzik Kloida. She attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. In the
past Lucille worked as a cook at the Manitowoc Eagles Club. On Oct. 8, 1938
Lucille was married to George Hodas at St. Paul Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
George preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1995. She was a member of St. Paul
Catholic Church, former member of the Eagles Auxiliary #806 of Manitowoc, former
member of the Daughters of Isabella and a former member of the Otto-Oas VFW Post
#659 Auxiliary of Manitowoc. Lucille enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Roger (Ardell) Hodas of Madison;
Daniel (Coleen) Hodas of Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Kya Hodas and Benjamin
Hodas of Madison; Tiffany (Ryan) Metzger of Manitowoc; Sue Hodas of Sheboygan;
Judi (Rob) Diener of Manitowoc; and one sister-in-law: Kate Nelson of South
Carolina, Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded
in death by one son: Robert Hodas; one daughter-in-law: JoAnn Hodas; one grandson:
Phillip Hodas; one sister: Alice Vogel; three brothers: Francis, Clarence and Emil
Kloida.
Relatives and friends may call at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of
Manitowoc, on Sunday from 2 until 4 p.m. and on Monday at St. Paul Catholic Church
from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m. There will be a parish prayer
service at 4 p.m. Sunday led by Deacon Bill Klein.
