Mrs. Albert Hodas, 72, of 430 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died early Wednesday
morning at her home after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home in Manitowoc, and at 9:30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church
with Rev. D. L. Krembs officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Sophie Tomacsik was born May 20, 1883, in Bohemia. She was married
to Albert Hodas in Bohemia in 1911. In 1926 the couple moved to the United
States and settled in Arlington Heights, Ill. Three years later they came to
Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death three years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Sida Bator of Bohemia and Mrs. William
Russell of Manitowoc; a son, Albert of Manitowoc; one brother, Casper Tomacsik
of Chicago, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday until the time of
services. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
