Fred Hoeppner, 41, of 814 North 12th street, died Thursday night following an
illness of eight months.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Immanuel Lutheran
church. Burial will be made in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Hoeppner was born in Germany March 15, 1898. He came to America with his
wife 16 years ago, settling in Manitowoc. He worked as a mechanic and for the
past several years has operated an auto body repair shop on North 8th street.
Survivors include the widow, one daughter, Erma, and four sons, Max, Albert,
Paul and Fred, all at home. Several brothers and sisters are living in Germany.
