John J. Hogan, 63, proprietor of a monument work here for 15 years, died Saturday
evening at the home, 920 Jay street. He had been ill five months.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the St. Boniface church.
Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Hogan was a native of the county, being born in Franklin in 1876. He first
located in Reedsville to engage in the monument business and came to this city
in 1924 to establish a monument works on Jay street, which he continued to
operate until taken ill.
He married Miss Katherine Brennan in Maple Grove __ years ago. She survived with
a son Sherman of this city and a daughter, Mrs. John B____, this city. There is
one grandchild.
The body may be viewed at the Leschke funeral home until the hour of the services
Wednesday.
