Cremation has occurred with burial of the cremains at Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born September 12, 1921, in Manitowoc, son of the late Robert and
Anna Daugs Holdorf. Delmer was a veteran of the United States Air force
serving overseas during World War II. He was employed with the United
States Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1959. He was then employed at
the Manitowoc Post Office, retiring in 1986.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Holdorf, Manitowoc; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Howard Holdorf, Ohio, George and Kathleen Holdorf,
Janesville, Mrs. (Christopher) Kathleen Holdorf, Manitowoc; one daughter
and son-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Adler, Colorado; ten grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Christopher; two sisters, Ruth and
Mildred.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc is
assisting the family with arrangements.
