Mrs. Carl (Gladys) Hollander, 62, of 2090 Johnston Dr., Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Zimmer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hollander, nee Gladys Peterson, was born May 7, 1915 in Thorp, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Oscar and Minnie Wegner Peterson. She moved with her family to Manitowoc as a child, attended Sacred Heart School and was graduated from Lincoln High School. She was married to Carl Hollander October 25, 1938 in Manitowoc. Mrs. Hollander was employed with the Veteran Service Office, Manitowoc, retiring in 1965 and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish.
Survivors include her husband, Carl; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Lutz and a sister and brother-in-law, Quentin and Catherine Pech of Manitowoc and nieces and nephews. A brother, Harold and a sister, Rumilda preceded her in death. There will be private family visitation. Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc is in charge of arrangements.
