DEATH BRINGS END TO VISIT AT ALGOMA
Death brought to a sad close the visit of Mrs. Sophia Hollander of this city
at Algoma Saturday when Mrs. Hollander passed away after a brief illness.
News of her death reached here in a message announcing that the body would be
brought here for burial from the late home at 1409 Green street, services
being held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. Haas of St. John's
church of which Mrs. Hollander was a member.
Mrs. Hollander had been a resident here since 18_9. She was 74 years of age,
having been born at Hanover, Germany, April 5, 1846. Five children survive
being E.W. Storch, Escanaba, Wm. Storch, Appleton, Mrs. M. Vollmed, Algoma,
Mrs. W. C. Kreie, Antigo and George Hollander of this city.
Mrs. Hollander had been visiting her daughter at Algoma for some time past.
