DIES AT KENOSHA
Mrs. Holmes, nee Rose Woerfel, Victim of Typhoid Fever
Mrs. Clarence Holmes of Kenosha, nee Rose Woerfel of this city is dead at Kenosha,
a victim of typhoid fever from which she suffered for ten days, news of her death
having been received in messages Sunday. Mrs. Holmes was a daughter of Edward
Woerfel and is survived by her husband and one child, her father, one sister and
four brothers. Mrs. Woerfel, mother of Mrs. Holmes, died in this city six weeks
ago at which time Mrs. Holmes was here for the funeral. The body of Mrs. Holmes
will be brought here from Kenosha Tuesday and the funeral will be held Wednesday
from the Woerfel home.

The funeral of Mrs. Clarence Woerfel Holmes whose body was brought here from Kenosha
was held from the Woerfel home this afternoon and attended by many friends. Rev.
Father Oliphant, rector of St. James Church, officiated and burial was at Evergreen.
