LINDA HOLSCHBACH
Mrs. Peter (Linda) Holschbach, 82, of 1329 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening March 8, in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Holschbach, nee Linda Goethke, was born July 9, 1895 in the Town of Liberty, daughter of the late August and Maria Bull Goethke. She was a lifelong Manitowoc county resident and was married to Leo H. Fricke May 4, 1916 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death July 8, 1957. She was then married to Peter Holschbach July 30, 1965. Mrs. Holschbach was a member of Ladies Aid Society of the church, Germania Society, Senior Citizens and LTI Homemakers club.
Survivors include a son, Leo A. Fricke of Manitowoc; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Marie) Ponschock of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, Mrs. Donald (Gladys) Keil of Manitowoc and Mrs. Lewis (Elaine) Hrdina of Two Rivers; three step-sons, Reinhard of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Leo of Rt. 2, Manitowoc and William of Manitowoc; three step-daughters, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Korinek, Mrs. Marvin (Ione) Pankratz and Mrs. Robert (Amy) Kaufman of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Dick of Chicago; 29 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to Manitowoc Senior Citizens building fund or charity of the donor's choice.
