ROSE HOLSEN (d. 1968)
Mrs. Frank P. Holsen of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Thursday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Claude LeClair will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Holsen, nee Rose Dassey, was born July 27, 1890, at Marinette,
daughter of the late Frank and Lucille Notenit Dassey. She married
Jacob Armbruster, now deceased, and the couple lived at Faithhorn,
Mich. On June 20, 1934, she was married to Mr. Holsen at Waukegan,
Ill., and the couple located at Manitowoc. She was the last member
of a family of 12 children.
Survivors include the husband; a son, (private); four daughters,
(private); 14 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3:30 p.m. Sunday where
at 8 p.m. the Rosary will be recited.
