Alma Ida KLINGHOLZ HOPFManitowoc Herald Times, May 2, 1955 P. 15Mrs. John J. Hopf, 60, 633 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Sunday noon at the home of her sister Mrs. Lloyd Hagen, of 1712 Wollmer street, Manitowoc. The sisters had attended morning services at the First Reformed Church and Mrs. Hopf had stopped at her sister’s home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Reformed Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. A.C. Fischer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. She was born Alma Ida Klingholz in Manitowoc on December 3, 1894, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor Klingholz, and was married to John J. Hopf on June 1, 1920. She was a member of the Women’s Guild of the First Reformed Congregation. Her husband died in 1952. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Robert Schneider of Lark, Wis., and Mrs. Herbert Herrmann of Branch; two sons, John V. of Rt. 5, Manitowoc, and William R. of Green Bay; two brothers Adolph of Manitowoc and Emil of Sheboygan; one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Hagen of Manitowoc, and 11 grandchildren. Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 6 pm Monday.
