BOY, 14, DIES AT HOME HERE
Oldest Child of John Hopf's Succumbs Saturday
Donald John Hopf, 14, oldest child of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Hopf, 1130 Lake
street, died Saturday evening at 8:15 after a short illness with brain fever.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock from the home
and at 2:30 from the First Reformed church. Burial will be made at Evergreen
cemetery. The body will lie at the home until the time of the funeral.
Born in the house in which he died on July 13, 1921, Donald went through
graded school here. He was a student in the 8th grade at the Washington junior
high school.
Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Harriet and Dorothy, and two
brothers, Jack and William.
