SENA HOPF
Mrs. Sena Hopf died suddenly today at the home where she was born 85 years ago
and where she lived all her life. The residence is at 1313 S. Tenth street.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer funeral parlors after Sunday morning to pay
their respects. The funeral will be Monday morning, 9:30 at the funeral home
and 10 o’clock at St. Boniface Catholic church, the Rev. Alfred Pritzl
officiating. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
Nee Sena Friedl, Mrs. Hopf was born on Aug. 8, 1860. Her husband, Conrad,
preceded her in death 51 years ago.
Mrs. Hopf spent much of her time in raising and cultivating flower and vegetable
gardens.
The survivors are two children, George and Charles, both of this city and a sister,
Mrs. Sophie Hopf also of Manitowoc, and two grandchildren. The rosary will be
recited for the deceased at 7 p.m. Sunday at Pfeffers.
