MARY C. HOPPER

Mrs. Mary C. Hopper, 90, of Florence, Wis., died Thursday, Oct. 2, at
Countryside Health Care Center, Florence, following a long illness.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 5, at Lundholm Funeral Chapel, Florence.
The Rev. Geri Kroll, pastor of First United Presbyterian Church, Florence,
officiate and burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hopper was born Jan 9, 1890, in Germany. She came to the United States as
a young child and resided at Manitowoc, moving to Florence seven years ago. She
was a member of the Kenosha Rebeca Lodge where she was past noble grand. She was
also a member of the Florence OES, serving as past worthy matron of OES.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. William (Delores) Hill of Florence, Mrs.
Jerry (Audrey) Shakoian of Citrus Heights, Calif., and Mrs. Julius (Jean) Sanchez
of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Wekley of Haddon Heights, N.J.,
seven grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Her husband, Ed Hopper, preceded
her in death in 1959.
