REINHOLD HORNES
Reinhold (Reinie) Hornes, 58, of 2138 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday
morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will
be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Hornes was born July 7, 1912, at Crookston, Minn., son of the late Christ
and Sophia Fischer Hornes. He came to Manitowoc and married Mildred Donahue
Sept. 16, 1939. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. Mr. Hornes was a member
of the Lutheran Men's Club of the church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons (Private); three brothers, John and Edward
of Manitowoc and Otto of Flint, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. Walter Borgwardt, of Rt.
3, Manitowoc, and one grandchild.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, (Ninth Street
entrance) after 4 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon, until noon Wednesday and then
at the church until the time of services.
