Mrs. Frank Hronek, 77, of 1034 S. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died Sunday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt.
Rev. Msgr. John Landowski will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hronek, nee Bettie Wondrash, was born Nov. 5, 1892, in the Town of
Carlton, Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Thomas J. and Annie Johanek
Wondrash. She was married to Frank Hronek June 24, 1913, at Norman. The
couple located at Manitowoc until 1935 and then farmed for 20 years at
Kingsbridge, returning to Manitowoc in 1955. Her husband preceded her in
death Feb. 1, 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Henry (Betty) Zeman Jr., of Rt. 2, Two
Rivers; a brother, Frank J., of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. Julia Lijewski,
of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and six grandchildren. Three sons preceded her in
death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday where a Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m.
