Mrs. Ernest (Alvina A.) Hrudka, 86, resident of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died early Wednesday morning, November 28, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Glenn H. Unke will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hrudka was born October 12, 1898, in the Township of Grover, Marinette County, Wisconsin, daughter of the late August and Christine Kamke Juedes. She grew up and was educated in the Township of Grover, moving to Upper Michigan in 1930, and later to Manitowoc County in 1935 and finally to City of Manitowoc in 1958 after her husband's retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church and an honorary member of Ladies of Immanuel.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lila and Roland Demman of Manitowoc; a brother, Elmer Juedes of Greenleaf, Wisconsin; a sister, Elsie Boettcher, of Peshtigo, 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, also nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the church from 9:30 a.m. to the time of services. Memorials would be appreciated to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church or Immanuel School.
