ANNA HRUDKA
Mrs. Joseph Hrudka, 84, of Manitowoc, died Tuesday at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Dan Ecklund, in Chicago, with whom she made her
home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and
Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Dr. O. H. Phipps will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
She was born Anna Jachimstahl in Kossuth in 1867 and in 1883 was
married to Mr. Hrudka. They located in Manitowoc. Her husband died
in 1925 and for the past four years she resided with her daughter in
Chicago. She was a member of the Bohemian Ladies and Mens society.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ecklund and Mrs. Helmer Nelson of
Chicago; three sons, Ernest of route 5, Manitowoc, Ladimir of Chicago
and Edwin of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Blanche Strouf of Manitowoc;
eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after Friday noon.
