FRED HRUDKA

Fred Hrudka, 76, of 1109 Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, died Friday evening at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. He had been ill a month.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
with services and graveside military rites by Drews-Bleser Post No. 88, American
Legion. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Hrudka was born April 14, 1888, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Frank
and Mary Titera Hrudka. He attended Mishicot schools and in his early years farmed
in Colorado until World War I when he served with an infantry division in France.
After the war he was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. in the special goods shipping
department. He retired in 1959.
Mr. Hrudka married Helen Flint in 1922 (sic). She died in 1945 and he married Mrs.
Margaret Maresch in 1947. He was a member of Drews-Bleser Post and Mirro Retirement
Club.
Surviving are his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Emma Kotick, of Whittier, Calif., Mrs.
Lester Kautsky, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Blanche Boyd, of Lawton, Okla., and nieces
and nephews. A brother, Reuben, died in 1949.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
