LAURA HRUDKA
Mrs. Edwin E. Hrudka, 60, of 612 Chicago St., Manitowoc died Tuesday night at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. D. L. Krembs
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Hrudka, nee Laura A. Sladky, was born Oct. 1, 1897, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Joseph and Mary Steiner Sladky. She was married June 20, 1925?, to
Edwin Hrudka. After her graduation from local schools she was employed at
Manitowoc City Hall until marriage.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Michael Lutz nad Mrs. Walter Detjen of Manitowoc
and a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the Ninth Street entrance of the funeral
home where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
