Ralph Solomon Hubbartt Sr., 74, of 4140 Calumet Ave., Manitowoc, died late
Sunday evening, March 30 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Private
family funeral services will be Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
Rev. Robert B. Hayes will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Hubbartt was born October 8, 1911 at Woden, Iowa, son of the late William
and Mary Danielson Hubbartt. He married the former Burnell Anderson in Webster,
South Dakota on June 8, 1941. The couple moved to Manitowoc after marriage,
residing here since. Prior to retirement in 1971 he had been employed by Schuette
Construction Company and also was a truck driver for Dawson-Springer Company for
many years. Mr. Hubbartt was a member of Teamsters Local No. 619 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Burnell; twelve sons, Brett of Manitowoc, Brian of
Sheboygan, Todd of Manitowoc, Dale serving with the United States Navy, Dennis,
Paul, Terry, and Ray of Manitowoc, Ralph S. (Bunny) of Valders, William and Delbert of Two
Harbors, Minnesota, and Ralph R. (Dick) of Newton; Six daughters, Norma Wood
of Newton, Joan Glaeser and Audrey Mahloch of Manitowoc, RoxAnne Sieracki of
Newton and Gloria Easton of Denver, Frances "Tootie" of Hermantown,MN; a brother, Clarence of Willmar, Minnesota;
a sister, Esther Lindgren of Willmar; grandchildren and great grandchildren
also survive. He was preceded in death by two sons, Dirk and Ronald and a
sister, Florence.
There will be no Tuesday evening visitation at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
