Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 1999, at
the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be
Deacon Robert Drobka with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born June 21, 1917, in Grafton, Wis., son of the late Joseph A.
and Alice Pilger Hudon. Edward was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High
School and then went on to receive an engineering degree from Milwaukee
School of Engineering. On November 20, 1946, he married the former Arpa
I. Wojahn, in Van Dyne, Wis. She preceded him in death on December 28,
1986. Edward was a senior electrical engineer at Kelvinator Commercial
Products for 42 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and was actively
employed as a Public Relations Director for Wisconsinationwide.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Jennifer
Hudon; one daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Gary Ploederl, all of
Manitowoc; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Cristin Hudon. He is
further survived by a special friend, Grace Hessel and a second
daughter, Connie Bastian. Other relatives and friends also survive.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral
Home, Manitowoc from 4-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday morning from 10 a.m.
until the time of service at 11 a.m.
