Anton Huebner, who for many years was in the employ of the Barlett-Frazier
elevators in the capacity of millwright, and who for years lived in Manitowoc
where he is well known, was claimed today at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Louis Carstens, at Brillion, the end comae as a relief from sufferings of many
years. The body will be brought to this city tomorrow, after a short service at
Brillion at one o'clock, and funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at
1:30 from the Pfeffer and Sons chapel, with burial at Evergreen. The body will
lie in state tomorrow afternoon, at the Pfeffer chapel, after the arrival in
the city.
The deceased was born in Bohemia, March 30, 1865, and came to this country at
the age of nineteen, coming to Manitowoc county where he settled near Newton.
He was married to Martha Kunze on January 21, 1888 and they took residence in
this city, Mrs. Huebner passing away here thirteen years ago.
Mr. Huebner leaves a son, Ed. of this city, and a daughter, Mrs. Louis Carstens
of Brillion, and three brothers and a sister who lives in Bohemia. Five grand-
children also survive.
