EDWARD A. HUEBNER
Edward A. Huebner, 58, of 1601 Columbus St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Thursday afternoon at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate with burial
in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Huebner was born Dec. 17, 1917 in the Town of Newton, son of the late
Albert J. Huebner and Emma Schuette Huebner. He attended First German
Evangelical Lutheran School and other schools in Manitowoc County. As a child
he moved with his parents to Manitowoc from the Town of Newton. He married Norma
Everson June 28, 1941 at Fennimore. He was employed at Mirro Aluminum Co. as a
Class I tool and die maker from March 22, 1937 until the time of his death. He
was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church and Stewardship Board
and former member of the Church Council. He was also a member of Mirro 25 Year
Club.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters and a son in law, Glen and Marilyn
Anklam of Two Rivers and Barbara Huebner at home; his mother of Manitowoc; two
brothers, Herbert of Mount Prospect, Ill., and Norbert of Manitowoc and three
granddaughters, Julie, Jeannie and Carrie. A brother Harold preceded him in
death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street Chapel from
6 to 9 oclock this Friday evening and at the church from noon Saturday until
the time of service Memorials may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church building fund.
